  "content": "The Robot Garage Apprentice program is an invitation-only mentorship\nwithin League Labs. Apprentices work in our fully equipped electronics lab on\ntheir own robotics and electronics projects, but they also help us develop and\npilot new curriculum. Sometimes that means testing a lesson plan for a motor\ncontrol workshop, sometimes it means exploring a new microcontroller platform\nto see if it’s a good fit for younger students, and sometimes it means pursuing\na passion project with close instructor guidance.</p>\n<p>This program is a lot like an internship. Apprentices work very closely with the\ninstructor and are expected to be self-directed, curious builders who can also\ngive thoughtful feedback on what worked and what didn’t. The work apprentices do\ndirectly shapes what we teach in our community programs.</p>\n<p>Robot Garage Apprentice is free, but it is invitation-only. The primary way we\nrecruit is through our Robot Garage Projects open build days — students who\nattend Projects Day and demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to\nhelp others are the ones we invite into the Apprentice program.",
